Brake Fluid Service Equipment Type: SET 2000(Item No. 18.000)
The SET 2000 Bleeding and Filling System use the latest technology in servicing and maintaining hydraulic brake and clutch systems.
The pre-drainage of master cylinder reservoir First draining the bulk of the waste brake fluid from the master cylinder protects the vehicle as it reduces cost: 1) critical brake components are protected from contamination which might otherwise occur if the old brake fluid were forced through the brake system, 2) there are considerable savings in new brake fluid since new fluid is not diluted with old brake fluid in the reservoir and, 3) it takes less time for technicians to change brake fluid.
Unique two-stage filling Eliminates air bubbles thereby reducing the amount of time spend bleeding while protecting critical ABS and other hydraulic brake systems from damage caused by air bubbles in the system. Two stage filling assures that even if the new brake fluid container runs dry, air bubbles can never be introduced to the braking system. Thus, there´s never a need to bleed the equipment to remove air bubbles before commencing to charge the brake system.
Adjusts master cylinder fluid to the correct level With just the turn of a dial on the equipment control panel, the technician can quickly and simply add or remove brake fluid from the master cylinder reservoir to achieve the correct fluid level.
12 volt battery powered for total mobility and worker safety The equipment cart has provision for carrying a 12 volt battery and offers an optional cord with alligator clips which may be used to draw power from the vehicle battery.
The equipment is also for the use of 220/230 volt available (Item No. 18.001).
